ScentWorkUK Tier 1 Workshops (Levels 1–4)

Fine-Tune Your Team for Trial Day
Hosted at Manea Village Hall – PE15

Struggling with distractions? Inconsistent indications? Feeling like you’re “winging it” in trial searches? These workshops are built specifically to help you and your dog succeed under ScentWorkUK conditions.

Held at Manea Village Hall, these targeted training days are designed for handlers looking to strengthen their approach, refine their dog’s performance, and troubleshoot common issues — all in a supportive, structured setting

What You’ll Get:

  • Realistic trial-style search areas – Including tables/chairs, vehicle, wall, exterior, and Boxes, Bags and Containers (BBC).

  • Mock trial format – Each workshop is structured to simulate real ScentWorkUK trial conditions for Levels 1–4, giving teams the chance to apply their training in a pressure-tested environment. Each search will be broken down in a productive manner to identify key learning points and help improve team performance.

  • One-to-one coaching blocks – Each working team receives individual input and time on task.

  • System & indication troubleshooting – Break bad habits, strengthen search patterns, and clarify expectations for the dog.

  • Handler coaching – Learn to read your dog better, avoid over-handling, and build consistency.

  • Supportive spectator spots – Watch and learn from others, ask questions, and join the discussion.


Workshop Format:

  • 4-hour sessions

  • Maximum of 6 working teams per workshop

  • Handlers competing in ScentWorkUK trials

  • Dogs prepping for Levels 1–4 (Tier 1)

  • Anyone needing honest feedback and actionable coaching in a trial-relevant environment

Location:
Manea Village Hall, PE15 – With access to both indoor and outdoor search areas.

Investment:

  • Working spot: £60 per handler (maximum 6 per session)

  • Spectator: £20 (includes full access to coaching discussions)

  • Full-day discount: Book both sessions for £110 (save £10)

  • Multi-dog bookings: Get in touch if you'd like to work more than one dog — I’ll do my best to accommodate fairly.

 
Note: You can book morning or afternoon workshops — or both if you'd like double the training.
